Today one of my friends came to school,
she had dyed her hair blonde then brown the effect was not pretty( it looked like she was going grey :s).
She went to get high lights and managed to dye it yellow blonde(aka bimbo blonde) so she didn't go to school the next day :( instead she went to get it fixed) after $120 dollars she was an
official brunette it wasn't actually that bad until today(grey highlights) which brings me to my topic today the teenage obsession of dying hair.
i have girls in my class who dye their hair every 2nd week they go from blonde to brown, from red to black and black to bimbo blonde( personally i think its so it matches their personalities) my question is why what is so life changing about changing the colour of your hair? does it stop the apoc
alypse? save the world from a super villain? no it makes your hair die all over again.
i know i'm having a bitch fest over hair but i don't see the need to change a perfectly pretty hair colour. But don't get me started on what can go wrong i know from first hand experience, i knew a girl who dyed her hair pink (she was attempting fire truck red) it was not pretty. but hey, i may be completely wrong because some of the dye jobs and hair styles are creative and just wow.
its amazing the trends of hair right now one i stumbled on was scene hair.
scene hair is very much like the emo style ( classic long side fringe) but with more personality, which is where the dying comes in most people with "scene" hair dye it weird and wonderful colours pinks, greens and even blue.
Others go for blonde tips in black hair or black tips in blonde hair, its an amazing look and one now worn by the wonderful people aka teenagers (also named devil spawn by some).
which brings me in to think that while dying hair doesn't save any one it can give people personality and individuality because being blonde, brunette, ranga(sorry if this offends but you are) gets boring.
so go ahead dye cut it chop it only promise me you won't agonize over wether to go honey blonde or dirty cause i don't want to hear about it.
